Messiah has launched a new digital tool to help anyone explore questions of faith, life, and Lutheran belief—anytime, from anywhere.

LutherBot is a friendly, AI-powered ministry assistant trained on Lutheran theology and social statements. Whether you're wondering about Communion, grace, inclusion, or what it means to be Lutheran today, LutherBot offers instant, theologically grounded responses.

This is part of a new Synod-wide digital ministry experiment, developed in partnership with Solace, the leading provider of AI and VR tools for faith communities. Solace works across denominations to help churches serve their communities with tools that are spiritually grounded, ethically designed, and easy to use.

LuhterBot (like all virtual and online tools) cannot replace the depth and connection of exploring one's faith in an in-person faith community and with the guidance of a trusted and knowledgeable pastor, but it does offer an accessible first-step for people (longtime Christians and seekers, alike) to begin sorting out life's big questions with the assistance of a tool trained in the hallmark clarity of Evangelical Lutheran theology. Use LutherBot to answer questions big and small, and to get your an initial sense of direction. As always, reach out to Pastor Trent if you'd like to make time to explore your questions further; he is always happy and eager to hear what questions the Spirit is stirring within you!

The tool is currently in live on our website. You can either access it at messiahmission.org/lutherbot or find the floating pop-up in the bottom right corner of any page on our site. This tool will continue being refined and tested by Messiah and other participating congregations within our synod. We welcome your exploration, feedback, and new ideas.
