At Messiah Lutheran Church, we believe that faith is a lifelong journey enriched by continuous learning and communal engagement. Our adult faith formation programs are designed to foster spiritual growth, deepen understanding of Scripture, and encourage meaningful conversations about living out our faith in today's world. We invite adults of all ages and backgrounds to join us in exploring the depths of God's love and grace, while building lasting relationships within our congregation.
Opportunities for Adult Faith Formation
Animate
Join us each Sunday at 9:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall for fellowship, coffe, treats, and engaging conversation. Through engaging videos from leading Lutheran theologians and guided conversation, we explore our faith in fresh and creative ways. Each week, we’ll hear from leading voices in Christian thought—including Nadia Bolz-Weber, Brian McLaren, and Lauren Winner—on foundational topics like God, Jesus, the Bible, salvation, and the Church. With engaging short films, provocative ideas, and space to reflect and share, this series is designed to reawaken wonder, deepen understanding, and invite honest exploration. Whether you’re new to Christian faith, returning with fresh questions, or a longtime Lutheran looking to reflect more deeply, you’re welcome to pull up a chair. No prep needed—just bring your curiosity.
Weekday Bible Study
Gather with fellow members every Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Pastor Trent's office for a casual and enriching Bible study. This weekly gathering offers a deep dive into God's Word. We often focus on one of the upcoming Sunday readings, providing an opportunity to reflect and prepare together. No prior preparation is needed—just bring yourself and an open heart.
