At Messiah Lutheran Church, we believe that faith is a lifelong journey enriched by continuous learning and communal engagement. Our adult faith formation programs are designed to foster spiritual growth, deepen understanding of Scripture, and encourage meaningful conversations about living out our faith in today's world. We invite adults of all ages and backgrounds to join us in exploring the depths of God's love and grace, while building lasting relationships within our congregation.
Opportunities for Adult Faith Formation
Adult Forum
Join us each Sunday at 9:15 AM in the Fellowship Hall for an hour of coffee, treats, and engaging conversation. Each week, we delve into diverse topics that nourish our intellectual, emotional, and spiritual discovery of God's work in our lives and the church. Our discussions range from studying Scripture and theological themes to exploring ways to live out our callings through action and advocacy. All are welcome to bring their questions and insights. For those unable to attend in person, virtual participation is available via Zoom.
Weekday Bible Study
Gather with fellow members every Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Messiah Library for a casual and enriching Bible study. This weekly gathering offers a time of conversation, coffee, prayer, and a deep dive into God's Word. We often focus on one of the upcoming Sunday readings, providing an opportunity to reflect and prepare together. Occasionally, we engage in guided studies of specific topics or books of the Bible. No prior preparation is needed—just bring yourself and an open heart.
