Beginning January 7, Pastor Trent will host a Wednesday evening catechesis exploring the foundations of the Christian faith through Scripture and the Evangelical Confessions (the Book of Concord). This gathering is to prepare one of our adult members who will be seeking baptism this Easter season. However, learning is always better with more people, so these evening discussions will also open to anyone who is curious, seeking, or simply interested in revisiting the basics of Christian belief and practice.
Each week will focus on a single topic, with guided conversation and shared reading. No prior knowledge or preparation is required, and participants are welcome to attend as many or as few weeks as they’re able. Optional reading suggestions from the Book of Concord and the Bible will be provided for those who want to go deeper or prepare for next week's topic.
This is a space for honest questions, thoughtful learning, and growing together in faith—whether you are new to Christianity, new to Lutheranism, or have been walking this path for a long time.
