Holy Week (the week from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday) is the most sacred time in the Christian year. Even still, most of the world still goes on as normal. We still go to work. Kids and students still go to school. Chores still get done. Sports and other activities keep going. But, for Christians, this week is not like any other week. It is a week where we are invitied to meditate on the startling and central truth of our faith -- that God chose to become human and to endure all the suffering that human life entails so that God might conquer fear, death, and all that keeps us from trusting in God's love.
To help us slow down and mark this week as truly holy, you are invitied to Evening Prayer via Zoom Monday through Wednesday of Holy Week (March 30 through April 1) at 7:00 PM.
This brief prayer service will include psalms, a Scripture passage, silence, and time for us to lift up our prayer concerns. You are welcome to join via Zoom and simply listen along, or to participate by helping to read prayers, readings, or to offer prayer intentions. All are welcome to join and to participate at your comfort level. The Order of Service for each day will be available here.
