On Sunday, October 5th at 10:30 AM, we will gather outdoors under the tent for a special worship service in celebration of Francis of Assisi, renewer of the Church.

This special service will include:

  • A blessing of any and all animal companions—bring your dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, horses, or any beloved creatures in your care!

  • A thanksgiving and remembrance for animal companions no longer with us, honoring the ways they blessed our lives.

The Rev. Kelsey Fitting-Snyder, Bishop’s Associate for the Northern Texas-Northern Louisiana Synod will be joining us that Sunday and preaching.

This is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and animal lovers of all kinds to join us. It promises to be a fun and spirit-filled Sunday where all God’s creatures—great and small—are celebrated as part of God’s good creation. Mark your calendar, spread the word!
