Advent Dinner and Devotion

In the early church, worship often looked a lot more like a dinner party. The church would gather (often at night), share a meal, pray, sing, read scripture, and the go back out into the world to bring the love of Christ to others. As we prepare for the Christmas season, we will have an opportunity each Wednesday during Advent to gather as the early church did, at night, in prayer, and around a shared meal. Join us for the following Wednesdays at 5:45 PM for an hour filled with the warmth of good food, conversation, and grace.  A soup supper is provided each Wednesday, and if you would like to volunteer to bring a soup or other goodies one week, please sign up using the sign-up sheet outside the doors to the sanctuary. Also, the choir will be meeting at 7PM directly following the Advent Dinner and Devotion, so consider sticking around and singing with us!
