Commissioning of our 2024 Congregational Council

On February 11th we welcomed and commissioned new and returning members elected to our Congregational Council for 2024. At Messiah, the Congregational Council is made up of 7 members voted on at the January Congregational Annual Meeting plus the Pastor. The council represents the larger congregation and acts as the legal governing body. Our council members bring with them a variety of gifts and backgrounds that allow us to be attentive to the creative work of the Spirit in our midst. We give thanks for Sherree, Roseann, Janice, Melissa, Carol, Derek, Mike, and Pastor Franz for their leadership on council this year.
