Academy 4

Messiah is teaming up with our fellow ELCA congregations — St. Matthew’s, Trinity, and Faith — to implement Academy 4 at Woodway Elementary (6701 Woodway Dr, Fort Worth). Academy 4 is a program that pairs 4th graders in high-need schools with mentors. The program begins this fall, and the time commitment is only 90 minutes, once a month. Mentors are provided training and resources to make the experience easy and successful. This is a great opportunity to not only make a positive impact on a child’s life but for us to live out our synod’s motto of being Together in Mission. Anyone can register to volunteer — so invite friends and family to join too!
