Philemon 1-21
Peace Be With You

This week’s message reflects on Paul’s short letter to Philemon and the moment in worship when we share the Peace. Too often, reconciliation feels like something rare or suspicious — something we only talk about when there’s a problem. But Philemon reminds us that reconciliation is central to the church’s life. The Peace we share is not small talk, but Christ’s own gift, given to us first and then passed through our hands to one another. In a world quick to divide, the church is called to something different: to receive Christ’s peace, to practice it with real people in the messiness of community, and to live as a witness that the Gospel is true.
