As our Messiah community looks forward to reaffirming our longstanding commitment to inclusion and justice , and as we deliberate an official decision on becoming a Reconciling in Christ Partner, members are invited to one of two movie nights with time for discussion.
On our first movie night, October 25th, we'll be watching the 2022 documentary film, Wonderfully Made. Through art and stories, the documentary explores the challenges and aspirations of LGBTQ+ Catholics and, more broadly, the hurdles that religious doctrine presents to full acceptance of LGBTQ+ people everywhere. Bring any snacks you'd like to have during the movie or that you'd like to share. After the film, we'll have some time to share and discuss what we learned and how this applies to our work at Messiah.
