Pet Blessings @ Heritage Park

On October 4th, the Church remembers the life and example of Francis of Assisi -- a 13th century Christian leader who reminded us that we and all created things are bound together in a common dependance on the sustaining grace and love of God. In recognition of that truth, we take time to give thanks for and bless our animal companions. Pastor Franz and Vicar Trent will be stationed along the trail at Heritage Park near the Patsy Hooks Dog park to offer a brief blessing to those who are out walking their dogs (or other pets!). So, stop by with your animal companions to receive a special blessing of thanksgiving for their lives and a prayer for their continued health and companionship.
