God's Work, Our Hands Sunday

Join us on September 8th, for a special Sunday worship in honor of God's Work, Our Hands Sunday. Every year, ELCA congregations celebrate this Sunday as a reminder that God has liberated us and gifted us beyond our wildest imaginations. In response to this grace and freedom, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we bring about God's reign on earth by caring for one another, building up beloved community, working for peace and justice, and living out our daily vocations with humilty and sincerity. On God's Work, Our Hands Sunday, we will have a festive worship service, a back-to-school blessing, and we will hear from Messiah members about their own passion projects and the ways they are being God's hands and feet in the world.
