The school year is right around the corner, and, for some families, getting all the supplies that our schools expect families to provide can be a challenge. That's why congregations and community organizations are pulling together for the Back to School Event on the morning of July 26th at Grace First Presbyterian (606 Mockingbird Ln).
Volunteer on the 26th -- Look out for a volunteer sign-up link in this week's Messiah Newsletter to volunteer the morning of the 26th.
Help prepare supplies -- You are also invited to stop by Grace First each Monday this month (7/7, 7/14, and 7/21) at 12:00noon to help sort and prepackage supplies. Bring a sack lunch for a bit of fellowship before the work begins!
Donate supplies -- right now the biggest need is for backpacks (for both younger kids all the way up to highschoolers), nap matts, and 1.5" 3-ring binders. You can bring supplies with you to church. We will collect supplies at Messiah through July 20th and deliver to Grace as they come in.
