Christmas Eve plans

Christmas Eve Service under the tent
Messiah will present an outdoor Christmas Eve service of carols, readings, and Holy Communion at 5:00 P.M. on Dec. 24, outdoors, under the tent in the church playground. The weather will be borderline, 48 degrees and wind at 10 mph from the NW, so bundle up.

We will also stream a Christmas Eve service prepared for you by the Messiah pandemic worship team, wit lots of special guests, on Dec. 24 at 7:00 P,M. on Facebook and YouTube.

Friends, we appreciate your gifts. To make an online offering, go to this link.

Of course our main concern about outdoor worship is that everyone is safe while we are together.  If you feel that the in-person gathering would be unsafe for you or someone else, for any reason, please  continue to participate online.

Guidelines for worshipping together safely outside include:

  • Please observe physical distancing recommendation, keeping six feet between people other than your family group.
  • Please wear a mask, especially while you are under the tent (or in the church) where there is less air circulation than outside. We have a mask for you, if you need one.
  • Use the hand sanitizer provided. Feel free to use the restrooms inside the church, following the guidelines above.
  • If you bring an offering, place it in the “little church” offering box.

Some of us should continue to worship online at home:
If you are concerned about personal health vulnerabilities;
Folks who are caring for family or friends with health vulnerabilities;
Those who have recently been exposed to someone with Covid-19;
If you have any of the symptoms related to Covid-19, e.g. cough, fever, body ache,
