 ach week. These social statements are not partisan talking points or polic
 y prescriptions. They are thoughtful expositions of how our biblical faith
  and Christian tradition intersects with the needs of the world around us.
  They challenge us to ask how the gospel shapes our public life\, how love
  of neighbor can take concrete form\, and how the church should bear faith
 ful witness amid complexity and disagreement.\nEach week\, we will read po
 rtions of a social statement together and engage in guided conversation\, 
 practicing the kind of thoughtful\, charitable\, and courageous dialogue t
 hat Lent calls forth. No advance preparation is required\, just a willingn
 ess to learn and wrestle with difficult questions together. The upcoming S
