Messiah’s schedule in Lent

Lenten Soup Suppers and worship – Lent is an old English word meaning springtime. In church usage it refers to the 40 days (not counting Sundays) leading up to Easter, the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

On Wednesdays during Lent we will host a light soup supper at 6:00 p.m. followed by a service of prayer and holy communion using elements of Holden Evening Prayer and the traditional vespers service. Please join us!

Our Sunday services are the same as always: 8:00 and 10:30 A.M.
